Luke Skywalker's Home for Wayward Jedi

[Trainee/trainer interactions, trainees working together or in their off time, anything occurring in the new Jedi camp goes here.

Feel free to build as we go. There are different environments reachable on this world, so if you want to train in the desert, the forest, the ocean, the swamp, feel free to assume you can.]

What is this? What's the premise?

This is a sandbox, set post-Return of the Jedi, where Luke Skywalker is heading up an effort to locate and train potential Jedi from across the galaxy.

Who can play?

Player-wise? Right now this is just a notion, and I'm pretty much opening it up to people I already know and those you want to invite. Just because I'm not able to run an actual game right now, and want to see where this goes.

Character-wise? We welcome any Star Wars characters and non-Star Wars characters AU'd into the universe.

Can I play someone who wouldn't have been around at that time?

Of course! Feel free to bring in anyone you want, just either posit time-travel or aging up or down to fit, say, Qui-Jon or Obi-Wan or Rey or Kylo into the premise.

Do I have to play a potential Jedi?

Nope! Luke's gonna need support from fellow Jedi, or friends, or whoever you think fits into the setting.

What kind of things can I play?

Again, anything that fits the premise. Want Luke to find your character and see their potential? Or what if Leia or Han is the one to find them? Want dorm shenanigans between trainees? Want your EU character to just drop in and ask what the hell Luke thinks he's doing? It's all good!

It sounds like you just want people to play with Luke.

Well, this started because I had a few separate requests to do "Luke finds my character and trains them" but that's not at all the only intent, here. Feel free to play things out sans Luke at all, just as long as the general setting is followed.

Are there any other rules?

The normal rules apply: no harassment, be excellent to each other, tag anything that needs a warning in the subject heading or main post.

But I don't know what the planet looks like/what the buildings look like/what the Force can actually do...

That's fine. No one does! I'm playing this fast and loose, kids. The idea is to sort of build it together. My initial impression of whatever planet this is based on is that it is NOT a Desert/Swamp/Forest planet or moon, that it has multiple biomes like Earth does, so we can set scenes in any type of environment.
